Ticketing Information

This year The Kick & Push Festival has chosen to update our ticketing model to the following selections. In the past, we have offered options such as Arts Worker, Student, and General tickets. However, in efforts to continue increasing financial accessibility for our audiences, we will be using the following selections for this year’s season.

General Ticket

This is the suggested ticket pricing option to purchase for the show of your choice. Like most other organizations in the live performance sector, our Festival does not break-even by ticket revenue alone. We’re fortunate to have many funders, sponsors, and partners that make this work possible.

However, ticket revenues are still a part of the overall math. As a professional theatre festival that pays both our staff and artists professional rates for their work, it is important to value the immense amount of time, labour, and other resources that go into bringing our season’s shows to life. The General Ticket, while still below market value, is our attempt to find the sweet spot between an affordable price point while honouring the financial complexities of the work.

Supporter Ticket

For those who are in a position to support the Festival at a higher rate than the General Ticket, we encourage you to consider purchasing a Supporter Ticket. These tickets allow us to even better fund the incredible work offered each year, while also supporting the long term sustainability of the Festival.

Subsidized Ticket

If the General Ticket is not a financially accessible option for you, we encourage you to opt for the Subsidized Ticket. These are tickets offered at a reduced rate for anyone who would benefit from this price point. However, we do understand this price may still be inaccessible to some.
