K&P Ticket Price Tiers
As part of the Kingston Theatre Alliance’s work to provide financially accessible professional theatre experiences, we offer a wide variety of price points for our patrons. Each season, The Kick & Push Festival presents a mix of both free and paid experiences for audiences to enjoy. For experiences that require a paid ticket* Kick & Push offers the following selections for pricing:
General Ticket
This is the suggested ticket pricing option to purchase for the show of your choice. Like most other organizations in the live performance sector, our Festival does not break-even by ticket revenue alone. We’re fortunate to have many funders, sponsors, and partners that make this work possible.
However, ticket revenues are still a part of the overall math. As a professional theatre festival that pays both our staff and artists professional rates for their work, it is important to value the immense amount of time, labour, and other resources that go into bringing our season’s shows to life. The General Ticket, while still below market value, is our attempt to find the sweet spot between an affordable price point while honouring the financial complexities of the work.
Supporter Ticket
For those who are in a position to support the Festival at a higher rate than the General Ticket, we encourage you to consider purchasing a Supporter Ticket. These tickets allow us to even better fund the incredible work offered each year, while also supporting the long term sustainability of the Festival.

Subsidized Ticket
If the General Ticket is not a financially accessible option for you, we encourage you to opt for the Subsidized Ticket. These are tickets offered at a reduced rate for anyone who would benefit from this price point. However, we do understand this price may still be inaccessible to some. If that’s the case, please reach out to our team at boxoffice@thekickandpush.com.
*Due to the rules and regulations of Fringe Festivals as governed by the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, the above ticketing model does not apply to the Fringe portion of Kick & Push. Info on Fringe tickets can be found below.
Fringe Ticket Info
The Kingston Theatre Alliance is excited to have the TK Fringe return as our “festival-within-a-festival” for a 9th season together! This year, the TK Fringe will be housed at the Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning for the first time in its 10 years in Kingston! As part of this shift to a a new venue, this also comes with the shift to a new digital box office.
The TK Fringe digital box office will be hosted on the K&P website alongside the rest of our summer offerings. Tickets can be purchased through the individual show pages. More information on the digital checkout process can be found below.
The 2026 Season offers Fringe tickets in two categories: General Admission ($25) and Child Tickets ($15). $15 of each ticket goes directly to the artists, with any remaining amount contributing directly to covering the costs to run the Fringe.
In-person ticket purchases will be available for all shows from our festival Front of House / Box Office in the Tett Gallery, open from August 6–16 throughout the Fringe. Both cash and card are accepted.

Ticketing Platform
As part of our 12th Season, we have made some changes to our digital Box Office! We have shifted to using the platform Zeffy as part of our continued efforts to provide affordable ticket prices for our patrons. As a system built for non-profits, Zeffy ensures 100% of the revenues go to the organization.
What does this change mean for you as an audience member?
All tickets will be purchased directly through their individual show page on our website through the Zeffy embed. This does mean tickets will need to be purchased on a show-by-show basis.
If you’re having trouble with the embed, a link is also provided on each show page to open the purchasing page in its own window.
You will be prompted with the opportunity to donate to Zeffy as part of the checkout process. These donations are what allows Zeffy to offer the services they do—however it is completely optional! Do not feel obligated to donate, and adjust the amount to $0 accordingly.
We will still be offering in-person door sales for all of our season productions, with both card and cash options.
After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the payment information. This email also contains your e-ticket(s), available via the “View Tickets” button. Please present these e-ticket(s) (digitally, or printed if preferred) to our Front of House team upon arrival to be checked in for your show.
If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your junk/spam folder in case your inbox directed it there.
