Liam Karry | Co-Founder & Artistic Producer

Liam (he/him) is the founding and current Artistic Director of Single Thread Theatre Company. He is a founding member and the Artistic Producer of the Kingston Theatre Alliance, and currently serves on the boards of anARC theatre and Regional Tourism Ontario 9. Recent directing credits include: Unless, a site specific immersive experience produced in Bangkok, Thailand, and Collider, a live VR performance, which was co-produced by FOLDA and the rEvolver Festival in June 2021, and at Summerworks in 2022. His next project is PXR2027: a national conference on live performance within extended reality. This summer will be Liam’s 12th season with The Kick & Push Festival.

Amanda Baker | Festival Administrator

Amanda (she/her) is a producer, theatre artist, and technologist based in Kingston specializing in immersive and interactive theatre. She holds a BAH in Computing and the Creative Arts from Queen’s, and a Master’s in Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies from UofT. She is currently the Associate Artistic Producer with the Kingston Theatre Alliance, Vice Chair (and previous Treasurer) on the Board of Directors for Kingston Arts Council, and a freelance bookkeeper. Recent work includes Quality Assurance for Cohort, Production Manager for Single Thread’s Virtual Ambrose, and Testing Lead for adelheid’s You Are Swimming Here AR experience.

Brian Solomon | Indigenous Curator

Multi-award nominated, winner and loser, creator B Solomon (he/him) is of Anishinaabe and settler heritage, born in Shebahonaning on the North Channel of Lake Huron. As a creator his work is multidisciplinary, raw, challenging and full of spirit.  His commissions have ranged from community-rooted works with over 100 interpreters, solos in trees, to animated installations of landfill. His works have been presented and toured across Turtle Island and abroad. Since he was a teenager, much of Solomon’s work has been committed to community activation with a focus on the unacknowledged and underserved ones across the land. He is passionate about helping people relearn the nature of their ancient bodies, and take back the space those bodies occupy as caretakers.


Ashley Van | Festival Production Assistant

Ashley (she/her) is an emerging creative in live performance and film production. Her work is driven by bringing the community together through immersive storytelling, with a focus on supporting emerging Canadian artists and new voices. She is passionate about creative development and interdisciplinary performance, with an interest in creating artistic experiences that foster connection between the artists, audiences, and community.

Ashley has worked on various personal short film projects and has contributed to theatre productions such as Death Trap (Assistant Producer, Queen’s Theatre Troupe 2026), Into the Woods (Assistant Technical Director, Queen’s Musical Theatre 2025), and Drag Queen’s on Trial (Assistant Technical Director, Queen’s Theatre Troupe 2025) during her time studying Film and Media at Queen’s University.


Felix Resureccion Jr. | Marketing Coordinator

Felix (he/him) is a Marketing Coordinator for The Kick & Push Festival and a student at Queen’s University. He is passionate about building community, creating meaningful connections, and helping people feel welcomed through the arts. Through his involvement in student organizations and cultural initiatives, Felix has developed a deep appreciation for the ways art can bring people together, spark conversation, and create a sense of kinship. As Marketing Coordinator, he is excited to help share the Festival’s stories and connect new audiences across Kingston and beyond with the artists and experiences that make The Kick & Push unique.


Gia Silva | Festival Production Assistant

Gia Silva (she/her) could not be more excited to join The Kick & Push team this season as a Festival Production Assistant! A lover of all things theatre, she has been acting since the age of eight. She started out performing in local theatre productions throughout Kingston, including BottleTree Productions and Blue Canoe. Gia recently graduated from McGill University with a degree in theatre arts, where she performed the role of Dusty in the play POTUS. Most recently, she played Suzie in last year’s TK Fringe Festival play, 1969 (PubShed Productions) directed by Rae MacDonald. As someone who is very comfortable on stage, Gia is eager to learn more about the behind the scenes aspect of a theatre festival. She cannot wait to spend her summer with The Kick & Push Festival!


James Wesley | Marketing Coordinator

James (he/him) is a recent graduate of Queen’s University, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. His background includes writing, youth education, community programming, and public-facing work, with a particular interest in the relationship between storytelling, place, and shared cultural experience. Through his studies in literature, James developed a strong appreciation for language, performance, and the ways stories move between text, bodies, and the communities that gather around them. He previously worked with Westben as a Marketing Coordinator in 2023 and has continued to write promotional materials for arts and cultural programming, bringing experience in audience engagement, arts communication, and public-facing storytelling.
